I bought a token on 27th April for 200 bob using Mpesa. I never got the token code for 8 days and i have been trying to call the contact center which never picked the calls for all this time. They finally picked the call on the 4th May and when i went home to insert the code, there was an error with X ddddddddd..... Which when i called at 2am in the night and got through, the lady told me that means I have used the token. WHAT A shame KPLC. The token number you gave me was not valid, you gave me a used token and now im told to seek further assistance i need to go to CBD to serve my case in Langata. The calling and being put on hold for 8 days has amounted to over 400 waiting charges and now they want me to go to town and waste my working hours making a line. This is day light theft. KPLC is totally a waste of time. They are thieves and a terrible company. Even the tokens system they use sell is so useless. you put 200 bob today they give you 3.2 units. You buy another 200 tomorrow you get 9.8 units. This is simply theft. They even have the shame to explain a bunch of rubbish ati ... the less units you get is coz of ABC taxes... or levies... They should fix the rates and get their profits and deduct their Levies of taxes in private. If you buy for 200 they should give eg 3 units flat. 500bob = 10 units 1000 bob = 19 units... etc.... you are a bunch of thieves. You should refund my 200 bob and stop wasting my time.

Hi,I have been paying a bill of less than Kshs. 1000/= per month for my domestic power consumption, which amount I pay after every three months. For the months of November, December and January, for instance, I paid Kshs. 1319. However, yesterday I received a bill of Kshs. 7505/= being a cumulative bill for the months of February, March and part of this April. I consider this outrageously high considering that I have even reduced electric appliances in the house. Kindly but urgently assist me address this so that I can continue enjoying your services. My A/c No. is 3941788-01.

Hi, I have been paying an average of ksh. 1,000 for my domestic power consumption and I have never defaulted.on 27/01/2017, I received a bill of ksh. 4,193.64 payable before 10/02/2017. My Account No. is: 3013199-01. Now, paying the bill is not an issue but I believe this is outrageously inflated. On 28th December 2016, I received a Bill of ksh. 517 and paid. Then on 27th January 2017, I receive a bill of ksh. 4,193.64. My consumption has remained the same, no additional gadgets or equipment....I need help very urgently so I can only pay for what I have consumed. KPLC is very efficient and I believe my issue will satisfactorily addressed asap. I am waiting.

Hi, my electricity connection is faulty right at the KPLC pole (at the white box installed at the top of the post), how many days does it take for that problem to be rectified....it is now two weeks and KPLC officers have not taken any step or respond to any of our request...Please advice

this looks like robbery with no violence cause i just don't get it if someone pays 200 then the next minute u are sent a sms that its not enough sent 98 to get token only to my surprise its 0.2 units
